Welcome!

You’re in! Now what?

Congratulations in locking in one of the spots for our workshop! We want to ensure that you get the most out of your experience so please review the following information below if you haven’t already.

getting started

  • You will be working with some of our team members besides Vivian. On the day of your Campaign Production Photo Shoot, you will be working with some of our artists. Please be sure to share any skin or product allergies you may have to ensure that you do not have any reactions on the day of production. Other attendees include but not limited to other aspiring models, agency models, photographers, entertainers, artists, content creators, business professionals and anyone else looking to hone their skillsets in front of the camera.

  • Day 1:
Immersive Education (5 hours) — Posing, body language, grooming, movement, facial expression, partner & group work, script reading, and confidence coaching. We will cover 10 modules, along with exercises and application.

    Day 2:
Professional Production Experience (3 hrs) — Styled photoshoots, makeup, hair, wardrobe, posing support, and image creation for your portfolio or brand. You will get to select from 4 different categories for your Campaign Production Day which includes the opportunity for solo and group work.

  • We recommend you show up in comfortable workout wear and shoes since it will be a bit of a workout. We recommend wearing black or an outfit you would wear to a casting. Wear sneakers but ladies and non-binary definitely bring your heels to change into! Your outfit should make you feel good, confident, ready to model and also most importantly you are able to see the lines you are creating when we get into the posing exercises. Feel free to bring your phone and tripods so that you can film yourself during the class. We encourage you to share them on Social Media and tag us! Feel free to bring something to take notes whether you prefer that good ol’ pen & paper  or if you decide to type it out digitally into your laptop, tablet or phone. Refillable water bottle. Fitness Resistance Bands if you have them. Preferably the one that is an infinite loop but stretch bands that you can tie together at the end will work as well.

  • You should bring outfits that reflect the mood board we sent you based on what type of shoot you selected: Beauty, American Classic Lifestyle or Sporty/Fitness. Please bring at least 3 different pairs of shoes and 5 different outfits.

  • Based on your preferences, our team will reach out via email with your Campaign Photo Shoot call time. During that time we will require your measurements. Please be sure to refer to the video on how to take proper measurements.

It is important that you understand what agencies are looking for and understand what division you would fall into as a model based on criteria. Fashion Models requirements are typically from 5’8 to 6 ft for ladies and 5’8 to 6’4 ft for men. Petite Models 5’1 to 5’7 ft for ladies and 5’4 to 5’9 for men. Runway (High Fashion, local designers tend to be more lenient) minimum is 5’8 for ladies and 6’0 for men. Commercial Print models varies depending on brand and print vs film. Each company has different requests for their casting directors as they are looking for models that best represent their targeted demographics.

how to take your measurements:

You should always provide the most current measurements to your agent for accuracy and consistency for casting directors and submissions. If at some stage in your life your measurements change drastically it is your responsibility to update your agency in order to avoid any issues with future clients. Depending on the agency they might display American and/or European sizing. Some higher profile agencies might encourage you to improve skincare, gain or lose weight, dye or cut your hair to increase your chances of visibility and jobs. Below are videos to show you how to properly measure yourself. The standard measurements generally for females are height, bust, waist, hips, dress size, shoe size, hair color, eye color, ethnicity (optional for casting purposes) and location (cities and countries model is based in or available to travel to for work). For males agencies usually require height, chest, waist, hips, inseam, suit size, shirt size, shoe size, hair color, eye color, ethnicity (optional for casting purposes) and location (cities and countries model is based in or available to travel to for work).
