Day 1: Fundamentals & Application
Your Confidence Beyond the Lens experience begins by stepping out of your head and into your body.
Through five guided experiences—Presence, Movement, Body Language, The Space Between, and Expression—you’ll explore how your body, energy, movement, and expression communicate before you ever say a word.
Through movement training, guided exercises, posing application, partner and group work, and real-time coaching, you’ll learn to create stronger lines, move with intention, connect with the camera and others, explore expression, and become more aware of the moments that happen between the poses.
You’ll have opportunities to practice, observe, perform, receive feedback, and bring each element together in preparation for your Professional Production Day.
It’s not about memorizing poses. It’s about understanding how to create them naturally—and developing the awareness and confidence to carry those skills into every future shoot, casting, performance, or branding opportunity.
You’ll be surrounded by a diverse group of creatives and professionals, including aspiring and agency-represented models, actors, dancers, performers, content creators, photographers, entrepreneurs, business professionals, artists, and others looking to develop greater confidence and presence in front of the camera.
You do not need professional modeling experience to participate. Come ready to explore, learn, connect, and grow alongside others doing the same.

DAY 2 — PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTION DAY
Bring everything you explored on Day 1 into a professionally produced environment through hair and makeup, wardrobe, creative direction, real-time coaching, individual and group work, and professional image creation.

What you’ll experience
Bring your curiosity and openness to explore your body. Please don’t forget to eat breakfast before and bring water/snacks to stay energized during the experience as you may work up a sweat!
Please note recording is not ONLY allowed unless instructors ask you to as part of an exercise. You should be present in the experience!

What should I bring?
Come dressed to move, explore, and feel confident.
We recommend all black or muted comfortable, fitted, activewear or dance-inspired attire that allows you to move freely while still letting you see the lines and shapes your body creates. Avoid overly baggy, bulky, or restrictive clothing, as we'll be working with movement, posture, body language, and posing throughout the experience. Wear comfortable sneakers that allow you to move with ease.

How should I dress?
Day 2: Professional Production Day September 6th (11am-7pm) You will be assigned a 3-hr slot.

Day 2: Professional Production Day
On Day 2, everything you explored during The Confidence Experience comes together in a professional production environment.
You’ll move through hair and makeup, wardrobe, creative direction, and your time on set with our team while putting your Day 1 training into practice through movement, body language, expression, connection, and real-time direction.
Each category assigned to you personally by Vivian, has been has been thoughtfully designed to explore a different side of your presence in front of the camera while creating imagery that can support a modeling portfolio, personal brand, creative career, or professional presence. She will select what feels most aligned with your looks and goals.
You’ll receive your assigned call time via text and email. Please plan to reserve approximately three hours for your complete Production Day experience, including hair and makeup, wardrobe, and your individual and group time on set.

Our Glam Squad will be there get you Close-Up ready, before going into wardrobe for your complete transformation. Alongside, you will be your fellow participants that are also assigned to the same category look. Then you will be guided by our set coordinator when it is your group’s turn on set. Vivian will then direct you on set while capturing everything you have learned from this experience, bringing it to full circle!

Who will be there?
What time do I arrive for Day 2?
You will be assigned a specific 3 hour time slot based on the category look you select for your Day 2 experience. You will receive this information both via email and text.

What should I bring?

You should bring outfits that reflect the mood board we will send you based on the category you have selected. Please bring at least 3 different pairs of shoes and 5 different outfits for our styling team to work with to put together the best look that will work for you! Avoid big logos. Please read Day 2: Professional Production Day to see the different categories we are offering for this workshop.
When will I receive my images?
You will receive a gallery with your best frames from your session curated by our creative team 2 weeks after the workshop. From there you will select your favorite 2 for editing which will be delivered 2 weeks later. You will receive 2 versions of your edits: hi-res .jpg and a web version for online usage.
