ESSENTIALS

Wardrobe

  • Show off your style. Solid colors, classic cuts, and minimal branding are standard however, feel free to wear various, colors, textures or prints.

  • Choose colors that complement your skin tone. Jewel tones, neutrals, and earthy shades tend to photograph well.

  • Layering adds dimension. A fitted jacket, sweater, or structured top can add variety to your shots.

  • Bring options. It’s always good to have a few choices so we can adjust based on lighting and background.

  • For Men - Ties, pocket squares and a nice watch is recommended.

  • For Ladies - Please bring seamless and nude undergarments, simple necklaces & bracelets and any other accessories you would like.

Hair & Grooming

  • Show your best. Your headshot should reflect how you look at your best when you walking into work.

  • Fresh haircut? If you’re getting one, schedule it at least a week before your session so it settles.

  • For long hair, bring a brush or styling tools if you want to switch between looks.

  • Men: A clean shave or well-groomed facial hair. If you’re keeping a beard, make sure it’s shaped up.

Makeup

  • Do you. Apply your makeup in a way that shows your best while still remaining professional. We do offer Makeup & Hair Artist services if you want to look your absolute best!

  • Matte finishes work best. Avoid anything too dewy or shimmery, as it can reflect under studio lighting.

  • Bring touch-up essentials. A translucent powder, lip balm, and blotting papers can help refresh your look.

Mindset & Energy

  • Rest up. A good night’s sleep makes a huge difference.

  • Hydrate. Your skin will look fresher and more vibrant.

Final Touches

  • Arrive with clean, moisturized skin.

  • If you wear glasses, bring a pair with non-glare lenses if possible.
